Доступність до життя. Проєкт ГО «Океан добра» / Accessibility to life. The project of the NGO “Ocean of Good”

В Україні триває проєкт «Криза в Україні: Реагування та відновлення з урахуванням потреб людей з інвалідністю під керівництвом та за координації організацій осіб з інвалідністю (2-га фаза)» (надалі – Проєкт), який реалізує Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України (надалі – НАІУ) за підтримки Європейського форуму інвалідності (EDF) та Християнської місії незрячих (СВМ). В рамках проєкту громадські організації, що опікуються людьми з інвалідністю, підготували та захистили ґрантові заявки на виконання короткострокових проєктів. Ці проєкти дозволять поліпшити доступність осіб з інвалідністю до соціальних послуг та гуманітарної допомоги, що є особливо важливим в умовах війни та спровокованих нею ускладнень.

Громадська організація «Центр соціальної адаптації людей з інвалідністю «Океан добра» (м. Дніпро) – одна з ГОІ, котра за рахунок мікрогрантової підтримки реалізовує власний проєкт «Доступність до життя». За словами керівниці ГО «Океан добра» Ольги Волкової: «В Україні немає жодного централізованого закладу або центру, який би надав послуги із комплексної підтримки людей з інвалідністю та маломобільних груп населення, евакуйованих с гарячих точок. Частковим вирішенням цієї проблеми є створення і функціонування Центру соціальної адаптації та реінтеграції осіб з інвалідністю та старшого віку, евакуйованих з гарячих точок та реалізація проєкту «Доступність до життя. Це важливо не тільки для нашого міста, а для країни тому, що ми приймаємо людей з зон бойових дій та відправляємо їх в більш безпечні міста. Ми є перша лінія адаптації, реабілітації та соціалізації для цих людей, тому дуже важливі перші кроки їх безпечного становлення для їх подальшого життя».

Метою проєкту є створення умов для швидкої адаптації осіб з інвалідністю та людей похилого віку, які щойно пережили інсульт та втрату кінцівок внаслідок бойових дій, до нових життєвих обставин, а також підтримка соціальної активності підопічних. У Центрі є спеціально облаштований зал для реабілітації людей, які такої допомоги потребують. В рамках проєкту будуть надаватися комплексні реабілітаційні послуги та догляд, в першу чергу, задля запобігання ізольованості людей з інвалідністю та осіб старшого віку, евакуйованих з гарячих точок, а також їх реінтеграції та соціалізації на етапі встановлення ступеню втрати здоров’я та звичного життя, отримання базових соціальних рекомендацій щодо подальшої реабілітації та соціалізації. Передбачається навчання певної самостійності у побуті з у рахуванням потреб та фізіологічних особливостей людини з інвалідністю та особи похилого віку, які пересуваються за допомогою крісла колісного. Також, буде проводитись інформування та навчання родичів та осіб, що супроводжують/доглядають осіб з інвалідністю щодо можливостей реабілітації та соціалізації, новацій в цій сфері та кращих практик, а також активізацію реінтеграції ВПО, які були раніше ізольовані і не мали необхідних знань та навичок.

В рамках проєкту «Доступність до життя» фізичний терапевт Ілля Грицюк вже проводить заняття з цільовою групою на базі ГОІ «Океан добра».

A project: “Crisis in Ukraine: Response and recovery taking into account the needs of people with disabilities under the leadership and coordination of organizations of people with disabilities (the second phase)” which is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Mission of the Blind (CBM).

As part of the project, large-scale organizations that care for people with disabilities prepared and secured grant applications for short-term projects. These projects will improve the accessibility of people with disabilities to social services and humanitarian assistance, which is especially important in the minds of the war and the hardships caused by it.

Non-governmental organization “Center for Social Adaptation of People with Disabilities “Ocean of Good” (Dnipro) is one of the NGO, which implements its own project “Accessibility to Life” with the help of micro-grant support. According to Olga Volkova, head of the “Ocean of Good” NGO: “There is no centralized institution or center in Ukraine that would provide comprehensive support services for people with disabilities and low-mobility population groups evacuated by hot current. A partial solution to this problem is the creation and functioning of the Center for Social Adaptation and Reintegration of Persons with Disabilities and Elderly Evacuees from the Hot Stream, and the implementation of the “Accessibility to Life” project. This is important not only for our city, but for the country because we keep people out of the war zone and send them to safer cities. We are the first line of adaptation, rehabilitation and socialization for these people, so the first steps are very important for their safe development for later life.”

The goal of the project is to create conditions for the rapid adaptation of persons with disabilities and elderly people who have just survived a stroke and loss of limbs as a result of hostilities to new life circumstances, as well as support for the social activity of the wards. The Center has a specially equipped hall for the rehabilitation of people who need such help. Within the framework of the project, complex rehabilitation services and care will be provided, first of all, to prevent the isolation of people with disabilities and elderly people evacuated from hot spots, as well as their reintegration and socialization at the stage of establishing the degree of loss of health and usual life, obtaining basic social recommendations for further rehabilitation and socialization. It is expected to teach a certain independence in everyday life, taking into account the needs and physiological characteristics of a person with a disability and an elderly person who moves with the help of a wheelchair. In addition, information and training of relatives and persons accompanying/caring for persons with disabilities will be carried out regarding the possibilities of rehabilitation and socialization, innovations in this area and best practices, as well as activation of the reintegration of IDPs who were previously isolated and did not have the necessary knowledge and skills

As part of the “Accessibility to Life” project, physical therapist Ilya Hrytsyuk is already conducting concepts with the target group on the basis of the “Ocean of Good” NGO.
