Жителі Сторожинецької та Мамаївської громад можуть отримати грошову допомогу та засоби для реабілітації. Йдеться про людей з інвалідністю, переселенців і тих, кому більше 60 років. Це можливо у межах проєкту від Національної Асамблеї людей з інвалідністю України.

Про це у коментарі Суспільному повідомила координаторка проєкту в Чернівецькій області Валентина Добридіна.

У Сторожинецькій громаді проживає майже 1300 людей з інвалідністю, у Мамаївській – майже 900. Для проєкту обрали ці громади через велику кількість людей, яким потрібна допомога.

“Ми тісно співпрацюємо з представниками сільських рад, щоби виявити цих людей та їхні потреби. У кожній громаді маємо свого координатора. Збираємо заявки та щотижня подаємо по 10-20 пакетів документів до асамблеї”, – розповідає координаторка.

Кому та яку допомогу надали

Більше 100 жителів Сторожинецької громади та майже 40 Мамаївської отримали засоби реабілітації. Йдеться про крісла колісні, деякі з електроприводом, багатофункціональні ліжка, протипролежневі матраци та подушки, ходунки, гігієнічні речі, слухові апарати для дітей та дорослих.

“Ми розуміємо, що, наприклад, крісло колісне потрібно підбирати індивідуально. Тому люди приносять нам довідку від лікаря або програму реабілітації. Наші координатори в громадах і фахівці асамблеї консультують і супроводжують увесь процес”, – каже Добридіна.

Жителі можуть отримати фінансову допомогу у розмірі 4200 гривень. Цим скористалося понад 400 людей з Мамаївської та більше 380 зі Сторожинецької громади. Також людям надають адресну підтримку: допомогли провести операцію для чоловіка з порушенням зору, та з протезуванням жінки, яка пересувалася на кріслі колісному. Кожному виділили до 20 тисяч гривень.

Підтримують не лише людей з інвалідністю, але й соціальних працівників у громадах. Загалом їм закупили 11 велосипедів.

У межах проєкту цього місяця у Сторожинецькій громаді запрацювало соціальне таксі. Договір з перевізником уклали до кінця року. Тепер люди з інвалідністю можуть їздити у медичні заклади області. Добридіна каже, що поки послуга не настільки актуальна, бо про неї знає небагато людей.

“На жаль, цей транспорт не є доступним для осіб, які пересуваються на кріслах колісних. Їм потрібно допомагати. Однак для інших груп – тих, хто пересувається самостійно, це дуже зручно”, – каже Добридіна.

Як отримати допомогу

Проєкт триватиме до кінця року. Заявки можна подавати до сільських рад у громадах або звертатися безпосередньо до координаторів на місцях. У Сторожинецькій громаді працює Владислав Добридін, а у Мамаївській – Людмила Крестіянікова.

Що відомо про проєкт

Проєкт реалізує Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України за фінансової підтримки Федерального міністерства закордонних справ Німеччини (GFFO), CBM та EDF. Проєкт втілюють у Чернівецькій, Полтавській та Волинській областях.

How two communities in Bukovyna promote accessibility by providing wheelchairs and starting a social taxi

The residents of Storozhynetsk and Mamaivsk communities can get financial help and means for rehabilitation. We are referring to people with disabilities, refugees, and people who are internally displaced, and those over 60 years old. This is feasible within the framework of the project sponsored by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine.

Valentina Dobridina, the project coordinator in the Chernivtsi region, conveyed this information in a comment to Suspilno.

There are nearly 1,300 people with disabilities in the Storozhynetsk area and nearly 900 in the Mamaivsk area. These communities were selected for the project due to the substantial number of individuals who require assistance.

“We closely collaborate with representatives of village councils to identify these people and their needs. Each community has its own coordinator. We collect applications and submit 10–20 packages of documents to the Assembly every week,” says the coordinator.

Who and what type of assistance was given?

More than 100 residents of Storozhynetsk community and almost 40 of Mamaivska community received means of rehabilitation.These include wheelchairs, some with an electric drive, multifunctional beds, anti-bedsore mattresses and pillows, walkers, hygiene items, hearing aids for children and adults, and hearing aids.

“We comprehend that, for instance, the selection of a wheelchair requires an individual approach.  That is why people often bring us a certificate from a doctor or rehabilitation program.  Our coordinators in the communities and experts of the assembly advise and help with the whole process.” – Dobridina says.

The residents can receive financial help in the amount of 4, 200 hryvnias. More than 400 people from Mamaivska and more than 380 from Storozhynetsk community took advantage of this. Individuals are additionally provided with specialized assistance, such as aiding in the execution of an operation for a man with visual impairment, and providing prosthetics to a woman who ambulated in a wheelchair. Up to 20 thousand hryvnias were allocated to each person.

They support not only people with disabilities, but also social workers in communities. In total, they bought 11 bicycles. As part of the project, this month a social taxi was launched in the Storozhynetsk community. People with disabilities are now able to visit medical institutions in the region. Dobridina asserts that the service is currently insufficiently relevant due to its limited visibility.

“Unfortunately, this transport is inaccessible to people in wheelchairs. They are in need of assistance. But it’s convenient for other groups, like those who move on their own” – Dobridina says.

How to seek assistance?

The project will be finished at the end of the year. The proposals can be handed in to the village councils or handed in to the coordinators on the ground. Vladyslav Dobridin works in the Storozhynetsk community and Lydmila Krestianikova in the Mamaivsk community.
